PermitRadar ("we," "us," "our") operates the permit intelligence platform at permitradar.co. If you have questions about this policy, contact us at ben@permitradar.co.
Account information: When you sign up, we collect your name, business name, email address, trade type, and the zip codes you service.
Usage data: We log page views, dashboard searches, and feature interactions to improve the product. This includes your IP address and browser type.
Billing information: Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card details, only a billing reference from Stripe.
Communications: If you contact us by email, we retain that correspondence.
Permit records shown on PermitRadar are sourced from public government databases. This data (including property addresses, permit types, and where available, applicant names) is already in the public record. We aggregate and present it; we do not create or sell it.
We use your information to deliver the Service (send daily digests, power the dashboard), communicate with you about your account and subscription, improve and debug the platform, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
By creating an account, you opt in to receive daily or weekly permit digest emails. You can adjust your digest frequency or unsubscribe at any time in your account settings. We may also send transactional emails (account notices, billing receipts).
We share data only with service providers who help us operate the platform (e.g., our email delivery provider, payment processor, and cloud hosting provider), and only to the extent necessary. We do not sell or rent your personal information.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. After account deletion, we may retain anonymized usage statistics and records required for legal or financial compliance for up to 7 years.
We use industry-standard measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure; please use a strong, unique password for your account.

We use session cookies to keep you logged in and analytics cookies to understand how the platform is used. We do not use advertising cookies or sell data to ad networks.
PermitRadar is a business tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify active subscribers by email of material changes. The updated policy will be posted at this URL with a revised date.
